3.4 percent of Seattle's workforce commute via bike to work. That's roughly 22,000 people. According to King County Metro, 500,000 bikes are loaded onto their buses every year. And all of these numbers will continue to go up as Seattle gets more and more bike-friendly. So why shouldn't we expect Seattle's booming apartment culture and Seattle's booming bike culture to intersect? As Renter's Week comes to a close, we took a look around to find the places to live around town if you're brining a bike in tow wherever you go. Some places, like Velo and Via6, have crafted large parts of their entire existence around cyclists. Other buildings were simply smart enough to make sure they offer a bike room for storage and maintenance.
