Don't get us wrong: we love a good houseboat. And we love a good typo. And the combination delights us. Regardless, it's a little bit of a letdown when you figure out that this houseboat isn't actually under $2,000. Observe: the Redfin listing is easy on the wallet. The actual one, not so much. And now that this typo is out in the open, it's only a matter of time before they fix it and our time spent pretending we can afford a house boat disappears. This post, in effect, is destroying itself. How meta. The (real) price tag: $179,500. UPDATE: What a bummer, folks. As predicted, our meta post has indeed destroyed itself. Turns out some linking mix-ups in the Redfin universe sent buyers to a rental listing (and a price that is incorrect/awesome). They've corrected the mix-up, but we'll leave this listing up because we still love a good house boat.
