Cruising Craigslist: Splurging on Antiques Edition

Behold a sample of the best and brightest of housewares from Seattle's Craigslist. This week, furniture that is more expensive than its mass-produced counterpart, but has more character.

The piece: An antique dress form
The Price: $375
Use it for: pretending you sew, when really it's just a super expensive necklace holder. And scowling at Urban Outfitters customers who got it for cheaper.

The piece: An antique buffet with a glass front
The Price: $550
Use it for: making your dining room super un-babyproof and feeling stupid for not going to Ikea.

The piece: A French inlaid bed with a bronze Jesus design. Seriously.
The Price: $3,500
Use it for: Feeling super guilty whenever you bring someone home from the bar, and proving you're too classy to combine this with this.
