Your friendly neighborhood transit blogger reminded us that with actual Seattle weather coming back (yeah, this is normal, guys) we also might get some mudslides. The shutdown of Amtrak due to a slide this week meant that passenger rains were pretty much canceled through the Cascades until today, and STB has some words on whether the 48-hour automatic cancellation of all trains is too strict.
