Political views notwithstanding, it's usually not considered super polite to call someone after 9 pm or stand on their lawn. But people do it to Mayor McGinn all the time! Granted, the guy's the mayor, so he's likely willing to deal with a decent amount of harassment. That didn't stop his office from telling local TV stations to stop hanging out at his house and calling him in the middle of the night.
