An Entire Generation Refuses to Buy

Apparently this whole economic downturn thing isn't really working out too well for the real estate industry either (gee, you think?), and things aren't looking up because an entire generation is choosing to rent instead of buy. A huge amount of the 38 million renters in the United States are former homeowners who lost their jobs (and houses) and now rent, and most of them don't really intend to go back to buying. Yay landlords? [AP via Seattle Times]
