A family of ducks cased a fairly significant chain of rear-endings earlier this week, and the Washington State Patrol isn't really being super nice about it. The brood tried to cross I-5, prompting car number one to stop and the driver to get out and shoo the ducks away so as to avoid disaster. The problem is that stopping your car on I-5 usually doesn't end well -- she got rear-ended by a semi, which then hit another car. The WSP's take: don't stop for ducks in the middle of I-5, jeez.
