Everything You Ever Wanted to Know About Fall Restaurant Openings

This week's top hits from Eater Seattle, Curbed's sibling bar, restaurant and nightlife blog...

EVERYWHERE—'Tis the season for restaurant openings. Lots of restaurant openings. Tracking all these newcomers can be overwhelming, hence we present Eater Seattle's guide to what's opening this fall. Three Capitol Hill newcomers burst forth next week, and there are plenty of other high-profile projects in the works for October and November.

BRUNCH WIRE—Also on the listicle front, if you spend your Sundays at the Church of Brunch, here are a dozen suggestions, both classics and brand spanking new, for some of the best brunch spots in Seattle.

WEST SEATTLE—West Seattle favorite Spring Hill has relaxed things a bit. It seems people were under the impression that the West Seattle destination restaurant was for fancy fine dining only. Hence chef/owner Mark Fuller overhauled the menu to a more casual small-plate format. Even the servers are slightly dressed down.

EDMONDS—Those wiley marketing folk at Dick's have launched a social media contest to get everyone fired up for the new Edmond location. The burger chain is hiding Wonka-style orange tickets around town and sending people on a Canlis-style scavenger hunt. Winners get to participate in the grand opening of the new Dick's, which should be before Thanksgiving.
