True, talk of foreclosures this early on in the day (or in the week, for that matter) seems a little dour -- we know. But to every real estate cloud comes one hell of a silver lining. Last September, unit 809 at gorgeous-with-a-view Cristalla foreclosed and was officially put on auction last week. In 2007, this 1 bed, 1 bath, 826 sq. foot condo overlooking the Puget Sound sold for a reasonable(ish) $622,500. But on Friday, one lucky son of a gun landed the exact same unit for only $265,000 -- a relative pittance considering the panoramic views, schmanzy amenities, Belltown location, and square footage. See? Foreclosures can be good news.
