The biggest player in Seattle's downtown hotel boom, Richard Hedreen, has closed the deal. His company, R.C. Hedreen, paid $7 mililon for two apartment buildings on the so-called "Greyhound Bus Terminal" block at 9th and Stewart. The project Hedreen has in mind is a 1,200-room "convention hotel" that would be Seattle's largest, and only two blocks from the Washington State Trade & Convention Center. Next step: all those pesky engineering and design reviews. [PSBJ; CurbedSEA, previously]
