Boarding Houses

Hey, 1912 called -- they want their housing style back. West Seattle Blog recently reported that a site in Delridge recently received permits to build a boarding house -- the kind that would provide "multiple bedrooms within a dwelling." Other than in some kitschy cottage on Whidbey Island, when's the last time Pacific Northwesterners stayed in/heard of a new, 21st-century built boarding house? [WSB]
