Seattle reLeaf's 2012 Trees for Neighborhoods program is almost over!
Here's how it works: Trees for Neighborhoods wants to give away as many as four trees per household to plant in residential yards. In addition to free trees, participants get free watering bags, training on proper planting and care of trees, and ongoing tree care support.
While the deadline for street tree applications has closed, you can still submit applications for residential yard trees until October 21st. Check out the tree species available at the official Seattle Tree website.
