Facing Off: A Pair of $10 Million Homes

New, 2 comments

Fairweather Bay is the official, little-known name of an exclusive body of water that extends, fjord-like, between two virtually private compounds: the homes along Evergreen Point and Hunts Point. This weekend, each enclave boasts a $10 million listing, literally facing off against each other across the inlet. (Okay, technically it's $9,995,000.) You can boat or swim from the one to the other, less than two city blocks apart (as the fish swims), but to walk, drive or cycle is literally a two-mile journey.

Even so, the equally priced homes are not that similar. Evergreen Point has 5 bedrooms, 7.5 baths, and covers 9,100 square feet. Hunts Point is smaller, only 7,100 square feet, with 5 bedrooms and 3.75 baths, but (we think) better landscaping.
