It's a big day for automotive dealerships in the Seattle Metro Area being sold and converted. Let's start in Seattle, where the Mercedes dealership at the corner of East Pike Street and Belmont Avenue has been sold and will be converted into a 300-unit apartment building. AvalonBay Communities will construct the seven-story structure while the auto dealership will move to a new space on Airport Way.
Meanwhile in Bellevue, a 4.42-acre property that includes a 34,000-square-foot Ford Lincoln of Bellevue automobile dealership at 411 116th Avenue Northeast has been sold for $8,425,000. Berger Commercial Realty's Steve Hyatt brokered the sale and the property now belongs to Dog Walk, LLC, which we will assume does something with dogs and walking.
This parcel of land was once linked to groups interested in developing a basketball/hockey arena in Bellevue before the SoDo arena plans were finalized.
