Zillow has released ther Real Estate Market Reports for October and national home values rose 1.1% from September, the twelfth consecutive month of home value appreciation. In the Seattle metro, home values rose 0.9% month-over-month and 4.6% annually, and are now down 29.7% from their peak in June 2007. This is the eighth consecutive month of appreciation, and the largest annual gain since August 2007. Additionally, Seattle metro rents fell 0.4% from September to October to a Zillow Rent Index of $1,631. [Zillow]
