You're never going to believe this but someone else wants to build an apartment building in Seattle. Once the Viaduct is officially gone in 2016, developer Harbor Urban wants to construct a 16-story apartment or condo tower on what is now a parking lot on University Street between Alaskan Way and Western Avenue. With the Puget Sound views that are going to be available in the vicinity, expect many more plans like this in the near future. [Seattle Times]
