Here are the renderings for Equity Residential's new apartment buildings with retail on the ground level. Together, they'll bring 209 units to the Junction's most prominent intersection. Tenants of the previous building left in July and so far, nothing has happened on site. Why the delay? Turns out permits were granted at the end of October for demo, but the developers expect to start at the end of December, after Christmas.
Construction will last about two years; the contractor has not been chosen yet, though.
