If WSDOT gets its way, they'll be granting $750,000 to King County Metro Transit to start building a bike share network in King County. The Puget Sound Bike Share would set up bike stations, along with helmet and food opportunities, throughout Seattle and other key urban areas in King County. Don't get too excited, though. The program's executive director says they'll ultimately need $3.7M to launch Phase I, so the $750,000 would be a nice start but there's a ways to go. [PSBJ]
