Yeah, We Nurture Nature

Relative to the rest of the nation, we know that Seattleites in particular dig nature. And other people know it. So much so that in his new book, "Lasting Value: Open Space Planning and Preservation Successes", Rick Pruetz hails King County as an "undisputed leader in open space preservation." That out of the 24 profiles of communities across the U.S., we, Seattleites, King County residents are doing good by our friend, Mother Nature in keeping her resources healthy, happy, and beautiful. Nicely done, King County -- gold star for the day!
