Here's some happy news to send you on your way this weekend: A young beaver has taken it upon himself to establish a home for himself in Golden Gardens. He's gnawing away at trees and branches to make himself a dam in the pond on the north end of the park. Sunshine, end of the work week, beavers making dams in Seattle -- it's a good day.
