Do you get as stoked as we do when you see new listings pop up online? (Embrace the nerdy -- it's okay, we do!) Does your 21st century sensibilities wish you could get the deets on them faster rather than having to while away your days combing the interwebs for them? Well, Redfin has heard your silent cries of anguish (how intuitive, right?!) and has created Instant Updates, a new feature for home buyers.
Here's the basic gist: if you sign up for the new feature on Redfin, they'll send you e-mails 15 to 30 minutes after an agent lists the place so you can be in the know and get a jump on some excellent new digs.
And it's kind of a big deal. Listen to this stat: 21 percent of homes in Seattle that have been listed and sold so far in 2012 only took three days or less to sell. Let's face it, in this market, in this economy, that's the kind of miracle that maybe only Jesus can top...But the point is that if you're on the hunt for a new house, those few extra hours can make all the difference in getting a head start. Happy hunting, Seattle!
Oh, and Redfin? You're just a peach for anticipating our every real estate need. You don't have to say it back or anything, but we just thought we should let you know that we love you. (Too soon to drop the "L" bomb or not soon enough...)
