My, my, Seattle, you do seem to often find the most, er, creative ways to remedy glaring problems. Folks are up in arms about the proposed dissolution of the downtown ride-free area. The City of Seattle's answer? Give the people tiny buses. Little 15-seaters will circle around and around for people who can't afford to pay bus fare -- that's the genius plan. Ah, Seattle, how you've managed to develop trinket transportation to create more visible economic discrepancy in our city is beyond us, but we must applaud your constant (albeit stupid) ingenuity.
