Remember when Seattle's first West Elm opened downtown a few months ago? Remember our anticipatory glee, our unabashed excitement at all the home design coolness that was going to descend upon the Pacific Northwest? Well get ready for another round of that frenzy of enthusiasm because we've just gotten word of Urbanata and are totally stoked about it. While they don't sell those fabulous pig speakers or lush throw pillows that we've been eyeing at West Elm, Urbanata is brand new to the PNW and offers Seattelites a fresh look at modern home design that is focused on sustainability and affordability. (A totaly win-win, we say.)
Don't believe how cool it is, yet? Well then check it out for yourself. Tonight. There's a huge, rockin' launch party for Urbanata on Thursday, April 5 from 5 PM to 11 PM in SODO. Fo' free. Anyone from architects to homeowners are invited to nom on some tasty eats and booze from Chinook Winery and Hillard's Brewery, listen to some sweet live music, and nerd out on all the fabulous ways Urbanata can help you (re)model your house and help you make it look like some Pacific Northwest eye candy. And what's that? They'll be having special giveaways? Don't mind if we do...
Head to 4100 4th Ave S. in SODO and you'll see why we're obsessed and probably won't be able to stop talking about it for a while.
