(Streetcars) Shippin' Off to St. Louis?

Sure the Light Rail is consistent and the bus system marginally faster, but the streetcars that used clickity-clack down the waterfront are certainly far more charming. And while it is sad that these historic streetcars have been rusting in a warehouse near Safeco for the past seven years, here's news really worth shedding a single tear over: they could be heading out of town. The Seattle Times reported that some outsider folk from St. Louis -- yes, way out there in Missouruh -- came to take a peek at our waterfront streetcars with the hopes of buying them up and bringing them back home.
