Linge Shoes and a Bevy of Sales and Events

Friends, gather round -- today we bring you Curbed Seattle's very first foray into retail coverage. Racked Seattle is helmed by none other than Alison Brownrigg. We're very proud to deliver her (and her fabulous retail coverage) to you today. Got fun tips for our in-house sartorial mastermind? Hit the tipline at seattle@curbed.com.

The Red Shoes: Dancewear as daywear has captured the fashion fancy of many a gal since Fame and Flashdance (or maybe you're a Black Swan?). Either way, admit it, you've considered legwarmers at some point in your life. No? Well, we all love a comfy, versatile ballet flat. Intrepid entrepreneur Whitney Evans has just launched lingeshoes, a line of traditional ballet slippers bolstered with a bit more umph for everyday wear, in an array of amazing colors (look for new ones each season). Tuck them in your purse for slipping into at the office, on the airplane, after a long night of heels, or pirouette around the house just for fun.
