One House, Two House, Red House, Blue House: Seussian House on Bainbridge Island

We know that Dr. Seuss had a flair for outlandish whimsy, but this seeming Seuss-inspired home out in Bainbridge Island shocked us as though pre-conversion Grinch had just informed us that he loved Christmas with every fiber of his being. Certainly, we were more prepared to witness the Cat in the Hat and Thing 1 and Thing 2 on ladders painting the exterior of this 4,248 sq. ft. cartoonish home than to see the incredibly chic interior of this 3-bed, 3.75-bath residence. Keeping in line with the "[t]hink left and think right and think low and think high. Oh, the thinks you can think up if only you try!”-sentiment, the designers got creative, including features like a jetted tub, vaulted ceilings, a walk-in closet, French doors, three fireplaces, and, our personal favorite, a custom-built 2000-bottle wine cellar to keep you fun-loving for years. The 2.5 acre lot also boasts views of the Puget Sound and the Olympic Mountains, in addition to 151 ft. of waterfront and, get this, a private tram to the beach! This Seussical-style home adventure can be yours for one fish, two fish, red fish, blue fish...and $1.35 million.
