Bad news for buyers, better news for sellers: Seattle Times is reporting that the average price for homes in the Seattle area are up 2.6 percent. It doesn't sound like much, sure, but given the recent decline in the market, beggars can't be choosers. We're actually (marginally) ahead of the curve, as the the average rise across 20 metro areas was "only" 2.2 percent. Pat on the back, Seattle. Way to be above average. [ST]
