After a stalk-happy weekend, we emerge...victorious! As promised, here are some more quick and dirty deets (including the much-awaited address!) of how goalie-extraordinaire, Hope Solo upgraded her Kirkland digs since her gold medal win. No more "slummin'" it for this Olympic athlete. Now this local gal can come home, enjoy the last few weeks of summer sunning on a floatie in her private, in-ground pool and live like she's finally made it to the big time. Or whatever it is that champions do after returning from the Olympics...

Worst part about the house: She (must have) felt like she was living next to the non-stop rager that is I-405. That's what happens when the only thing separating a house and a major interstate is a flimsy, wooden fence and some low-lying shrubbery.
Standout features: It has a, uh, fireplace?
Fun (speculative) fact: Solo still owns the house, but since she has a brand new spot to live, but maybe (cross your fingers) she's looking for renters?

Worst part about the house: That while it's certainly a better house than the traffic shack she was living in before, it's still in Kirkland.
Standout features: The whole nine yards. We're talking wet bar, hot tub, vaulted ceilings, jetted tubs, walk-in closets, views of Lake Washington, an athletic court, a patio, a gazebo, a total of six covered parking spaces, an office, a shop (which she wants to convert to a mother-in-law unit someday), and a heated in-ground pool.
