The Seattle Department of Parks and Recreation want to raze the Jefferson Park Municipal Golf Course Clubhouse, much to the chagrin of Beacon Hill residents. Apparently, the historic building is "of no importance to Seattle history and culture." Folks at Bassetti Architects masterminded the plan and already have devised plans to build a replacement facility, while other locals are working hard at saving the building by establishing it as a landmark.
