McGinn Heroics

Hero shadowing as Mayor of Seattle Mike McGinn has yet devised yet another plan to address the city's transportation needs. The Stranger reports, McGinn will propose a $6 million plan to study "high-capacity transit", meaning that pending council approval, the budget will include analyses of and funding for a slew of various proposals to help rehab and improve current transportation. Of particular note is the streetcar/street-rail that may connect Ballard to the downtown area. [TS]
