Tour of Husky Union Building 2.0 Through Photos, Part I

As students flock to the University of Washington's campus to start yet another crazed year of college, all will be welcomed by and (re)introduced to the new Husky Union Building (HUB). Closed in the summer of 2010, the HUB went under construction to accommodate the 21st century UW population that has evolved by nature of time. Six years ago, Perkins+Will began the design process, taking into consideration the desire and needs of the student body, faculty, and staff members, in addition to respecting the long history of the building. Now the building, with more open space and easily navigable, as Perkins+Will's project designer Ryan Bussard dubbed them, "streets" within is open for use.
