Capitol Hill's New Home for Yarn Bombing Pros

Apparently, yarn bombing a few trees is reserved for amateur hour. The big boys in the big leagues like Seattle artist Luke Haynes set their sights higher and took this small-scale, cozy art form to the next yarn bombing level. As a result, the exterior of a one-story house formerly known as "Horizon Books" on Capitol Hill has now been wrapped with 500 pounds of yarn. This temporary art installation will last but for a few months until Ada's Technical Books is ready to move in. The folks who own Ada's wanted, if not encouraged the project to happen to "let everyone know the property has been purchased."

Well, that's one way to do it.
