Say goodbye to the Washington Park Arboretum's ramps to nowhere because this park is about to go somewhere thanks to $7.8 million in state funding for improvements. The money comes as part of the 520 Bridge replacement project.
So what will the very green park do with all that green?
Projects funded are the 1.75 mile multi-use trail, improvements to Azalea Way Pond, parts of Arboretum Creek and Foster Island.

Multi-use trail will be for pedestrians, bicyclists, strollers, etc. and will get bicyclists away from hazards of Lake Washington Blvd.

And as for those ramps to nowhere, their removal will begin in 2014. So if you were planning a trip to nowhere, you better take it soon.
