Per PSBJ, the Rockefeller Group and Sterling Realty Organization announced Tuesday that they are moving forward to develop 2.4 million square feet of commercial property on almost 5.5 acres in downtown Bellevue, making huge changes to the area and ushering in the next step of growth for the city.
The site will be located between Northeast Eighth Street and 106th Avenue Northeast and include three office towers, retail shops and a public area. The towers will rest on top of a "podium" where pedestrians and shoppers will make their way through.
According to the press release, now they need an anchor tenant in order to lock down the timing of the build. Barnes & Noble and Mars Church are currently the big tenants on the property though it remains unclear if either will remain there.
