Downtown Seattle's Historic Holyoke Building Sells For $7.4M

Photo: Robert Ashworth
The Holyoke Building is old. (How old is it?) Construction began on the 113-year-old building at First Avenue and Spring Street before The Great Fire of 1889. Downtown Seattle grew up around this historic link to the past and now it's been sold for $7.4M. Dina Corp. of Bellevue was the seller and real estate company Martin Smith Inc. was the buyer. Listed on the National Register of Historic Places, it's currently the home of luxury retailer Watson Kennedy and various offices.
