Three University District apartment buildings now belong to Absaroka Holdings LLC for the tidy sum of $48M. What's notable about the purchase is that Absaroka is run by Bill Gates' chief investment officer, stoking questions over the former Microsoft CEO's involvement in the deal. The three complexes involved are Pacific Sunrise Apartments (4628 22nd Ave. N.E.), Apex Apartments (4233 Seventh Ave. N.E.) and Kelsey Apartments (4233 Ninth Ave. N.E.). Combined they make up 127 units, almost all of which are currently leased.
