We let you know back in September that Canadian developer InHaus had plans for a 20-unit Built Green 4-Star condo building in Ballard called Solo Lofts. Those plans became official this week. The building will feature units ranging from 500-1,200 square feet and come with ten parking stalls.
What's notable about the announcement is that the building will be the first client of Redfin Builder Services, a new service from Seattle-based real estate brokerage Redfin.
Redfin leverages its network of hundreds of agents, access to Multiple Listing Service (MLS) sales data, and proprietary database of home-buyer preferences to provide its clients custom market research to inform product, pricing and marketing decisions. Based on these insights, Redfin brings together local real estate experts with marketing, social media and communications specialists to create an integrated sales and marketing program. Each program is tailored to the scale of the project, but starts with featured placement on Redfin's website and mobile applications, exposing those properties to millions of home shoppers each month. Redfin Builder Services is coming off a successful test-run in Atlanta where it sold all 26 units at the Vannoy Park community in 10 months. Let's see what kind of magic they can work here in Seattle…
