In May, this Arthur Erickson-designed 4-BR tucked away in The Highlands was sold for $2.2M. In the seven months since, the new owner must have been installing some reaaaaally nice carpet because it's back on the market for a whopping $3.9M! The listing photos look exactly the same, so we're dying to know exactly what made the price jump so much in so little time (it should be noted, $3.7M was the original asking price last time).
The home once belonged to noted art patrons and philanthropists Virginia and Bagley Wright and was recently lived in by Andy Warhol collector Richard L. Weisman. The reduced previous sale may have simply been the Wright Estate moving on after Bagley's death in 2011.
