Yesterday we heard that WSDOT didn't think it would know until at least Friday what exactly was blocking Seattle tunnel boring machine Bertha underneath the city. Now comes word that they actually won't know for two whole weeks.
The leading theory so far? A boulder situated in soft soil, making it too hard for Bertha to break through. We're still leaning Cthulhu until we know otherwise…
