Amazon Moves Into Building, Immediately Doubles Its Value

New, 2 comments

Two years ago, the 1800 Ninth Avenue Building was sold for $76M. Then, Amazon moved in and took over 200,000 square feet of office space. Monday, the building sold for $150.4M, an astounding 50% jump in value. Real estate company Heitman America was the buyer, who clearly sees some value in owning property that Amazon calls home. Folks, The Ama-Zone is mighty and it's not showing any sign of slowing down.
