REO Flats Mixing Old Seattle Style & New Green Standards

New, 1 comment

We just "can't fight this feeling" that there's a way to work Speedwagon into this story. Until we figure it out, we'll just tell you to be on the lookout for REO Flats, a new seven-story, 68,000 square foot mixed-use development coming to Capitol Hill's Pike / Pine Corridor, which broke ground today.

The project will include 108 luxury apartment units, 7,200 square feet of street level retail and a 72-space subterranean parking garage located at 1515 Fourteenth Avenue.

A joint venture between Madrona Real Estate Services and Glenmont Capital Management, REO Flats is designed to resemble a 1925 mercantile building, like those from the old auto row days of Pike/Pine.

The complex will be built to Built Green® Level 3 standards and will include electric vehicle-charging stations, Zip Car parking, a green rooftop deck with downtown views and resident bicycle storage.

Leasing is expected to begin in Spring 2014.
