According to city records, it looks like Amazon is looking into yet another new space in downtown Seattle. The Seattle Times reports that work has begun on about 100,000 square feet on at least five floors in the 15-story 1800 Ninth Avenue Building (Ninth Avenue and Howell Street) on behalf of the online retailer.
While they haven't confirmed the move yet, it's just the latest in a long line of real estate moves and expansions for Amazon. The company has added roughly 2.8M square feet of new real estate space in the past three years, more than half of which at their South Lake Union HQ and the rest spread across four buildings downtown and in the Denny Triangle.
If they keep this up, Amazon should own your home by 2017.
