Downtown Tower Proposal Includes Outdoor Terraces On High

Urban Visions is planning to build a 27-story tower at Second Avenue and Pike Street with an unusual addition. Sandwiched in between sky-high office spaces and street-level retail would be a series of outdoor terraces that look out on the city and Puget Sound.

What exactly will be done with the open space remains unknown, though that's sure to be discussed at the Downtown Design Review Board's March 19 meeting.

Along with what looks like around eight levels of terrace space, the tower would also include 35,000 square feet of retail, 133,500 square feet of office and 50 residencies.
