Boston Celtic Jason Terry Selling Mercer Island Mansion For $2.5M

Earlier this week, Boston Celtics' guard Jason Terry was on the receiving end of a particularly-nasty dunk courtesy of LeBron James. Hopefully, a quick sale of his $2.5M Mercer Island mansion will help soothe the pain.

Sited on a sprawling 2.9-acre lot, JET's gated retreat measures 6,600 square feet in size, which is roughly the equivalent of 1.4 basketball courts. The home opens to an open two-story foyer with a stairway leading to the second floor. Each of the home's six bedrooms features a private bath and French doors that open to a wrap-around deck, while a palatial master suite includes a fireplace, siting area and spa-like bathroom with a steam shower, heated stone flooring and a bidet. Besides its dramatic entryway, Terry's estate also has its own elevator, along with other luxuries ranging from a home theater to a wine cellar to a separate nanny's quarters. You know, that bidet probably came in handy following that dunk...

Terry, who grew up in Seattle, purchased the home in 2004 for $2.36 million. Perhaps looking to go into hiding thanks to that disastrous defensive play, he's willing to lose a little bit to make the sale.
