A couple weeks back we told you that the proposed multi-tower project replacing the old Greyhound Terminal at Stewart & 8th Ave. was evolving into a single-tower, 43-story hotel that would become the biggest in Seattle. Wednesday, PSBJ snagged an early look at the 1,550-room project that will be known as "Ninth & Stewart."
It's very, uh, white.
The first six floors will be a podium that contains the lobby, affordable housing for workers, banquet space and meeting rooms. The hotel rooms and suites will take up the 37 floors above.
The project is expected to cost $400-$500M with construction set to begin in March 2014 and the grand opening slated for 2017.
