Over at CHS, they've been following the development of Dunn & Hobbes' office space, restaurant and mews project at 11th & Pike since it was originally proposed. The project passed the final design review in March and will now move forward.
The revived plan calls for "a 5-story structure containing three residential units above 26,970 sq. ft. of commercial space." A walking mews corridor will provide a quasi-public passageway through the block and is being planned as an active area for retail and restaurant activity as well as a connection to existing businesses on the block. The project, which plans to begin construction this summer, will displace Chophouse rehearsal studios, though Dunn & Hobbes are hoping to help find them an alternative home.
