Two Tiny Homes Enter, Which One Leaves As Your Favorite?

New, 3 comments

As we mentioned the other day, Snohomish's Tiny Tack House is up for Apartment Therapy's Smallest Coolest Home Contest. Turns out, there's another area home up for consideration as well, a 530-square-foot apartment in Seattle.

Regardless of whether or not either one wins their categories, we need to decide which place Seattleites would prefer to live in.

Type: House
City: Snohomish
Square Feet: 140
Beds, Baths: 1/1

Even at 140 square feet, the house is actually two-levels, as the bedroom rests above the kitchen. The tiny home features all the basics required and runs on its very own water heater and solar panels to keep things going.

This one keeps the look and feel of a "normal" sized apartment, complete with separate rooms for your bedroom, living room and kitchen, even if those separations are slight. Still, there's enough room for not only two people but two dogs as well.

So, how would you rather live? In a cute, tiny apartment in the city or in a cute, extremely tiny house in the country?
