HP COO Bill Veghte Sells North Capitol Hill Colonial For $2.87M

Hewlett-Packard chief operating officer Bill Veghte is said to be on the path to big things, including one day taking over as CEO of the company. Before he makes that big move, he made another this week when he and his wife sold their 4-BR North Capitol Hill Colonial for $2.865M.

Jay Kipp & Christine Kipp of Ewing & Clark were the buyer brokers and Windemere's Kim Knowles was the listing broker on the first 2013 sale in the nabe north of $2M.

Not too shabby considering they purchased the property for $1.8M in 2002. Of course, the elegant home warrants the price tag. While many people can say their kitchen is the best in Seattle, this one can literally stake claim to it. The JAS Design-Build remodel, which includes custom glass cabinetry and a reclaimed Madrona wood island, was named Seattle Homes & Lifestyles magazine's "Kitchen of the Year" in 2007.
