One home in Roosevelt that hasn't even been built yet is causing all sorts of controversy in Roosevelt. KOMO has the story on plans for a three-story building that's very different from its neighbors in two very distinct ways. It's extremely skinny (30 feet by 18 feet) and extremely tall (three stories, taller than every other house on the street). Classic City Homes started building this modern house literally just in time before a moratorium on small-lot developments went into effect. There's not much neighbors can do at this point, other than make sure they don't set up any gardens in the shadow of this impending monolith. Is this a question of NIMBY or will a house like this ruin the charm of this residential nabe?
