Designed by master architect Ambrose Russell and included on Tacoma's Register of Historic Places, The Albertson House recently hit the market. The 4-BR Dutch Colonial, built in 1900, is available for a scant $449K. Don't worry, they've updated the interior. Oak floors, wood accents and exposed stone walls maintain the traditional feel of the building. The rooms that have been carpeted and had the walls painted don't maintain that same energy, though "the blue room" has a classic airiness.
